This pandemic has presented new challenges to the interpreting profession, but it might also afford an opportunity to adapt to future developments. I don't think when the crisis is over that everybody will resort to virtual meetings and remote interpreting, because people will still want to meet face to face. But there might actually be some companies that may decide to hold alternate meetings online and in person or organise hybrid meetings where some of the participants are connected while others attend in person.
